We were last here in March of 2023 for a one-night stay. The Sercotel was perfect for us. We really enjoyed Granada and knew we had to come back. This time, we stayed for three nights. The Sercotel was again perfect for us. The hotel is quite pleasant to be in at this time of year. Located in a two-storey former palace, it has a warm ambience. We arrived very early, so they held our luggage until we could check in, and they accommodated that early check-in. After check-out, they will store your luggage if you need it. The front desk staff are professional, courteous and efficient. One of whom we remember from our first visit. The Sercotel is quite central - approximately 5min walk to most things and minutes from the main street to catch a bus. A big BONUS is that it is not on the main street so you don’t have to worry about much car or foot traffic. We stayed in a Double Room. The room was more spacious than expected. Clean, warm, bright and comfortable. Quality furniture. We slept very well. The headboard is stunning. Wifi was good. The housekeeping staff were cheerful and helpful. The breakfast included in our stay is EXCELLENT for our eating style. Good selection of whole and cut fruit, yogurt, juice, tea, coffee machine, dairy and non-dairy beverages, cereals, nuts + white and whole grain bread, tomato puree, olive oil + fresh lettuces + boiled eggs, bacon, scrambled eggs, potatoes and veggies + meats and cheese + waffles, pancakes, pastries, churros. They have information displayed for allergens and offer lactose-free yogurt, lactose-free cheese, dairy-free milk, and no-sugar-added juice options. The kind staff are attentive and keep everything stocked and clean. On check-out day, we needed to leave early. Breakfast is punctual, allowing us to squeeze in a quick meal. All in all, an excellent stay. There is no reason for us to look for an alternative hotel. We shall return. THANK YOU to the staff! The photos are a combination of our two stays.

Everything was nice in this hidden gem from cleanliness, decor, comfortable beds, very nice pillows. Restaurant at the facility is awesome. Some guests complain about finding the hotel but it is if you are driving. We took Alsa bus direct from Malaga airport for €13 which dropped us at Granada Main Station exactly in two hours. From there we took local bus no. 33 for Cathedral fir €1.40 and it took about 15 minutes to reach the area. We then used Google map directions and walk for another 10 minutes and reached the hotel without any problem. Lots of restaurants and good shopping area is within minutes of walking. For Alhambra we took bus C30 which was close by for €1.40 and our way back we stroll from Alhambra to the hotel. You can’t go wrong with this hotel

Hotel is just off one of the mains streets Reys Catolica. We got off the bus from the bus station in Colon near the cathedral, walked round into Reys Catolica. Its up a back street and in the corner. Wooden panelling, lovely reception with a fountain and chairs. Some antique pieces. room was fairly spacious, bathroom had everything. Shampoo etc was in fixed containers. Breakfast had fresh fruit, pastries, hot food, cereals and various breads. A good spread. Coffee machine seems to be the thing in hotels now. Not always english breakfast tea bags. Hot water from the coffee machine. Walk up Reys Catolica a bit and get the bus to the Alhambra or Albaicin area. Walking to the Alhambra is uphill although not steep.

The location was fab ... pretty central. The breakfast had an excellent choice - hot and cold and coffee lovely from the machine in the breakfast room. Beautiful foyer. Lovely little bar right opposite and just round the corner another. 8 euros approx to Al Hambra by taxi which was called by reception and took about 2 minutes to get to the hotel - recommended to go in taxi as steep ... easy to walk back. Would recommend the hotel - we had a lovely time.

Fabulous location in the heart of the City. Great staff and onsite parking. Good size room as advertised. The location instructions if you are driving to the hotel may seem a little daunting! However it’s really quite straightforward once you follow the instructions. Wouldn’t plan on using your car while staying as it’s easy to walk around the main sites and if needed get a cab up to Alhambra.
